The Tisch Library is open daily. Library hours are reduced during
intersession, holidays, and summer sessions. Borrowers must present
their Tufts photo ID to check out materials.

> Subject specialist librarians are available to help students in all disciplines. The Tufts University libraries are members of the Boston Library Consortium, which allows students borrowing privileges at the Massachusetts State Library,Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, the Boston Public Library, and the libraries of Boston College, Boston University, Brandeis University, Brown University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Northeastern University, the University of Connecticut, the University of Massachusetts, the University of New Hampshire, Wellesley College, and Williams College. Graduate students may obtain a consortium borrowing card at the Tisch Library circulation desk. Research Guides by Subject Divided by subject (sometimes by teaching department, sometimes cross-disciplinary) each research guide helps students find background information, books, articles and websites in any particular field. How to Use RefWorks This often-used bibliographic management system allows students to save citations in an automated, organized fashion; to print correctly-formatted bibliographies and to cite in text while writing a paper. Find Theses and Dissertations Tufts arts and sciences masters theses and Ph.D. dissertations are in the catalog and can be searched by author or title. Contact Your Librarian The library provides names, phone numbers and email addresses for reference librarians and bibliographers available to help any library patron with research at any level.
