- Intellectual
Property Policy
Frequently, inventions, discoveries, and creative
works that are developed by individuals at the University will have commercial
as well as scientific and scholarly value. The intent of this policy is to
provide for incentives that foster creative activity, and to help assure that
any intellectual property produced will be exploited for the benefit of the
creators, the University research enterprise, and the public. To help meet
these policy objectives, the University makes available (from the Office of
the Vice Provost) technical and legal assistance in procedures necessary to
protect ownership of intellectual property and to aid in its commercial
development.

Non-Discrimination
Policy
Tufts University is committed to the fundamental principle

Privacy
Policy
The federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
of 1974 gives each enrolled student at Tufts access to his or her educational
records, the right to amend those records where they are inaccurate or misleading,
and the right to control their distribution to others. A detailed description of
your rights under the act, the location of all records pertaining to you, and
the procedures for requesting access and invoking your right to control access
are contained in a document titled "Annual Notification of Your Rights to
Privacy." Copies are available in the
Office of the
Dean of Student Affairs.

Misconduct Policy
The commitment to a strong and principled work ethic
within the institutional partnership is a requirement of all who join the
programs of Tufts University. The character of the University is a reflection
